The great yellow day and how it all ended

A week back, we girls in the class decided to come to college dressed in yellow on friday, sept 15th, just for fun. We kept our words and yeah it was a sea of yellow or well a yellow river or any other waterbody for that matter, whats important here is to understand that it was raining yellow!...It started out fine, cheering as more girls turned up in "you know what colour", even a few guys [poor them] turned up in yellow not knowing our plan and hence were the joke of the class...we took out our camera and started clicking pictures, merrily posing in a straight line, then diagonally, with yellow flowers in our hand and all other possible gimmicks. what fun it was until it all stopped with a bang...when we were ordered into our class for making [ the traditional class room quote] - "a hell a lot of noise". I got a little infuriated by the turn of events and so spoke out against a certain action taken by the department. This, i guess didnt go well with them. Finally the arguments died down, things got back to normal but it was good enough to dampen our spirits. It wasnt how it was supposed to have ended, but it was one of those days when we plan something and fate decides otherwise. Anyway it wasnt a big loss, we can always plan out one more such day, and one of the biggest lesson, i learnt yesterday didnt have anything to not make noise but to take horoscopes more seriously and that it can occassionally be true...This is what it read like yesterday

September 15, 2006 -You may need to hold your tongue a bit today, archs. People's feelings are much more easily hurt a this time and the slightest criticism could be misinterpreted as the most terrible insult. When in doubt, keep your mouth tightly shut. Turn your attention inward today and focus on your own internal emotions. Try to keep your mental chatter to a minimum and concentrate more on how you feel rather than on what you think.

HaHa, wish i had read it earlier...
